Lookofsky was excited as well extremely anxious to get the first event under his belt. Coming off 06 as the class champion there were a lot of expectations from every one involved in the race program. . The facility is known to be a well-prepped track and very fast due to its low elevation. BY the end of the Saturday qualifying Lookofsky was sitting in the #2 position only 0.062 thousands of a second away from # 1 Qualifier. As the #2 seeded car in the opening round, Lookofsky had a low qualifier that was a no show. Giving him a Bye into the Semi Finals.

Not Holding Back in the heat of the day Lookofsky puts up a 9.551 @ 145.16 backing up his 146.14 MPH Speed Record.
As for the Semi Finals Lookofsky new he had to go all out for the win to move into the finals. Competitor Saul Salceda and his Clutch Masters backed Acura Integra is a great competitor Lookofsky had to keep his guard up from start to finish. As the Light went down Saul took the whole shot but could not hold back Lookofsky and his big HP (Horse Power). 0353
